Antique Writing Desk Update

Chalkpaint is all the rage right now for Pintrest-ers and antiquers alike. Chalk paint is great for updating older peices or adding some flare to a room while still maintaining a modern look. We were so excited to be able to chalk paint this charming, antique writing desk.

My client found this fun peice on Craigslist for just a few "design" cents. LOL. She loved it and saw some great potential, and I'm so glad she did.

After looking through some color palletes from Annie Sloan, we decided on "Provence" with a dark wax finish. We are so excited to see how this peice will compliment the new space and add to the modern look we are implementing.
